Free Resources For Student Projects

From time to time we have the opportunity to provide resources to students for their projects. If you are a student and can make use of the types of resources presented below then fill out and return the form. We will then try to get you the resources you request.

Keep in mind that the resources are intended for use in a project that will be submitted to the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair. Resources may have limited availability so we will try to match up resources and students on a first-come-first-serve basis. The resources are provided at no cost to the student although a thank you note and a copy of your research paper would be appreciated by the sponsor supplying the resources.

Most resources are targeted at Senior and Junior Division participants. Participants that lack experience using the requested resources should have a teacher, parent or mentor that does have related experience that they can impart to the student. Let us know if you need support and we will try to match the student with a mentor or support person.

Embedded Computer Request (PDF) use this form if you would like to obtain an embedded computer, module or related software. Check out the websites of our sponsors (Parallax, Rabbit Semiconductor, Microchip) to see if they have resources that you might be able to use in your project.
