MSEF Winner is Semifinalist in Disney’s Iron Man 3 Inventor and Innovator Fair

We would like to congratulate Nicholas Stewart for being one of 30 semifinalists in Disney’s Iron Man 3 Inventor and Innovator Fair competition. Nicholas may win a trip to California for the premiere of Iron Man 3, a visit to Disneyland, trip to Broadcom Headquarters, and the opportunity to share his research at the El Capitan Theatre from May 3rd to June 20th.

Nicholas is a student at Saint Gregory the Great. He received a Most Superior award in our 2012 Mercer Science and Engineering Fair for his project, Down The Nanotubes: Tiny Innovation has Huge Impact on Safe Drinking Water. He also received the Earle S. Rommel Communications Award and the U.S. Navy award. The Disney competition was based on those participating in the Broadcom Masters competition so we recommend those who won this year finish their application for this competition.
