Victoria senior is grand-prize winner of science fair for third time

March 16 during the weeklong Mercer Science and Engineering
Fair. The 51st annual event was sponsored by the Engineers Club
of Trenton.

LAWRENCE
- For the third consecutive year, Laura A. Wong of Yardley, Pa., a
senior at Villa Victoria Academy in Ewing, has won the grand prize in
the senior division of the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair which
took place March 14-18 at Rider University.
She
won for her project "Fault Tolerant Behavior Based Robots"
during the 51st annual science fair, sponsored by the Engineers Club of
Trenton.
Various
companies, agencies, schools and organizations presented approximately
150 prizes in the elementary, junior and senior divisions. By winning
the grand prize in the senior division, Wong will enter the Intel
International Science and Engineering Fair, May 9-15, in Portland, Ore.
Siemens
and National Starch and Chemical were lead sponsors for the fair.
