Welcome to our first Club newsletter. We are well on our way for the 2005 Mercer Science and Engineering Fair. Our newsletter covers information related to the club and fair. A newsletter archive is located on our website along with a host of over useful documents and links.

1. MSEF 2005 Training Session

We would like to invite representatives of current and future participating schools in the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair to our MSEF 2005 Training Session. We received feedback from our 2005 Kickoff Meeting and have prepared three training sessions that should help you direct students toward award winning entries. We will also have forms available for those who have not received them or have not downloaded them from our website.

As an added incentive, some of our sponsors, Rabbit Semiconductor and Parallax, have donated a number of micro-controller and robotic development kits that will be given away as door prizes (limit one per school) for use in school or for a deserving student interested in doing a science fair project.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 21st.

2. Updated Website

Hopefully you have noticed that our new website design. If not, check it out. It is easier to navigate and has new links and information.

3. New Members And Sponsors

The Club and Fair are growing. We are looking for new members and Fair sponsors. Membership and sponsorship details can be found on the website. Members can not be fair participants or those associated with a participant such as a parent, teacher or mentor although you can be on our mailing list. Please contact us if you have any suggestions for sponsors or if you wish to join the Mercer Science and Engineering Club or sponsor the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair.
