Fair Judges

Judges for the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair rate the entries to the fair. Judges for the Elementary and Junior Division evaluate the each participant's project presentation. Senior Division participants must defend their project during a morning judging session. Judges will have an opportunity to interact with participants to hear more about the project. This is similar to the judging that occurs at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair that the Senior Division grand prize winner will attend.

The judges are coordinated by the Head Judge who reports to the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair (MSEF) Director. The MSEF Director is a member of the Mercer Science and Engineering Club.

The Head Judge is responsible for all judging and tallying of results of MSEF. The Head Judge works with the judging coordinator and MSEF Director.

The MSEF Director is responsible for managing the fair and awards ceremony.

Please contact us if you are interested in being a judge. A general background in math and science is very desirable. Judges may be members of the Mercer Science and Engineering Club so think about joining us as well if you are not already a member. Judges will be assigned projects based upon their interest and background.
